Topic/theme : Shopping
Tenses : Simple present, Simple Future, Simple Past
Expression : How much is it? Does it fixed price? May I bargain?
What did you buy?
I bought...
Material :
a. picture things or food made of paper such as : vegetables, fish, meat, bag, ect..
b. money (real or immitated)
Procedure/steps:
Teaching and learning Process
1. Give students scenario, group A seller and group B buyer. (information gap)
2. Ask one of group A ask and ask one of group B to answer to practice the dialoque.
3. Give group A things or food and group B some money to buy.
4. tell them not to sell the thing if the buyers are wrong to say the expression or words.
Evaluation:
1. Teacher sits near the door and asks the buyers to go home (or out) to evaluate the buyers by
using the questions :
teacher : What did you buy in the market?
student : I bought....
teacher : How much are they?
Teacher: The fish is Rp 25,000 a kilo, etc..
2. Teacher also evaluate the students or sellers by asking
teacher : How much money have you got ?
students : I've got Rp 250,000,000
teacher : I sold 10 bunches of vegetables, 5 kilos of fish, etc.
