BUILDING STUDENT'S CHARACTER

       Nowadays it's hard to find good character of students in every level of study whether in elementary school, junior high school, or senior high school such honesty, responsibility, fair, etc.

Cheating in exam is big problem which always happen in classroom exam even in National Exam or UN or students do bullying the teacher. Another problem is so many students addict to some kinds of drugs as active users so do the free sex life. What happen to Indonesian country if the hoping people who will rule the country have problem with themselves. 

          Athough  education and building the students' character are not only the responsibility of school but also government, parents and society but the school has big role to change and build student character. So, the school must find the right  formula or strategy to make students have nice and good character. There are some ways to build the students' character :

1. Set the school rule which contain the character building

2.Make agreement or commitment to run the rule (students and teachers)

3. Teacher must give sample as good character

4. Give reward if students has done or  obeying the school rule.

5. Give the punishment to students who break the rule

6. expose some motto or proverb in the wall or everywhere the student can see to build their character.

7. Do observation by the teacher, parents and society...
